Project Overview:
What was once a pair of underutilized office spaces has been masterfully transformed into two luxurious, short-term rental bedrooms tailored for boutique-style Airbnb guests. Designed for a client preparing for retirement and seeking passive income from her building, this project blends elevated hospitality with lasting design value.
Each room was crafted with a distinct personality—uniting bold color palettes, sculptural lighting, and custom detailing to create a curated guest experience. From textured bedding to artful wall treatments and rich materials, these spaces strike a balance between comfort and sophistication, designed to impress and invite.
Design Vision & Execution:
Our approach focused on elevating the space through strategic enhancements:
✔ Architectural Framing: Bespoke wall paneling was introduced to add depth, symmetry, and a sense of intentionality to the room.
✔ Statement Color: A jewel-toned upholstered bed was incorporated as a bold yet sophisticated anchor within a crisp, neutral backdrop.
✔Layered Luxe Textiles: The combination of velvet, satin, and metallic accents in the bedding and pillows created an atmosphere of understated opulence.
✔ Curated Lighting: Sculptural lamps and a sleek spherical chandelier balanced functionality and ambiance, enhancing the overall warmth of the space.
✔ Custom Styling: Dark wood and metal accents in side tables, frames, and decorative elements introduced a tailored, high-end aesthetic.
